My sugesstion for a new app that can be used for both on phones and on buildings.
The app will consisted of address bar. When insert and address it can show the user historical information about the building. This app can also be used near landmark building. A hologram projector can project a image of an host that will give details about the building. It can also suggests changes that were made through out history.
This application will be very attractive to visitors from all over the world. It can first be tested in most visited citys such as NYC, London, France. The model is relatively simple and can be extended to monument attraction or other popular sites.
Hmm, I like the idea that you have, it does seem innovative. However, I'm not sure holographic technology, as popular as it is in sci-fi, would be popular at this time, not to mention the cost of the technology. Also, I think they do have apps where people can take a picture of a landmark and get information on that landmark. With an abundance of Internet-ready cell phones that can search Google at a moment's notice to do a reverse-picture search it's hard to pitch another method when that one is working just fine. It's come to a point where we can scan barcodes at a grocery store and use a wireless Internet connection to compare prices at the store at any time. I think until the majority of people get tired of what we have now there won't be major changes like that anytime soon.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really great idea you thought of, its very different and unique. If a new app comes out i would definitely get it. It would increase the curiosity to visit the place.
This is a great application idea! I would also appreciate a listing of all current businesses maintained within the building address. There are so many sky scrapers within major cities and it would be very interesting to see the different types of business that are housed within. Google maps and street view is the basic concept for your above listed theory.
